Narita International Airport:T1 Basement Floor

2017

The basement floor of Narita T1 has been renovated many times since the beginning but too much information brought chaotic situation because of over lapped signs.
We use existent sign housing, omit letters replacing them with well-known pictograms, enlarge letters as much as possible and create legible sign faces.

North wing and south wing are indicated by pictograms instead of letters to save the space and display the large letter “International Departures”.
