In 2002, JIS Z 8210 Public Information Symbols, which is used for public transportations and public places, was standardized from Japanese Standards Association. They were determined by ECOMO foundation in 2001. i Design took charge of this project since 2000 as a secretariat of ECOMO foundation, as well as a member of JSA committee since 2001.
