Toward 2020 and the future, Narita Airport is aiming at the world’s top level Universal Design airport providing various kinds of users with security, safety, and comfortable service. Therefore Narita Airport has introduced the ‘Inquiry Sheet’ at its information counter in order to improve visual communication. This sheet is a tool helping passengers communicate smoothly on airport guidance and transportation methods through ‘pointing’ and ‘writing’ system when they feel some difficulty in communication.
